Although we have taken on a global presence, our main goal at Perfect Timing is to continually give every watch and clock we service or sell our personal touch. We repair all types of timepieces from antique repeater pocket watches to contemporary “auto-quartz” wrist watches; from wooden geared clocks to electronic desk clocks. Sales of unique brands of quality watches such as: Reichart Watch, Momentum,
Storm London, Pierre Laurent, Valima, Rodania, and Swiss Military, are the trademark of Perfect Timing. Canadian crafted Westminster Time clocks using German Hermle movements make up our premier clock line.
Owners Rick and Aime Brownbill both strongly believe that an educated consumer is their best customer. That’s why whenever a client purchases new, or picks up a repaired, watch or clock they always spend more time explaining its proper use, care, and even its history than they do writing out the invoice.
In 1973 Rick Brownbill started his Watchmaking career at G. A. Whitman Jewellers in his home town of North Bay, Ontario. He attended George Brown College in Toronto for three years, and received his Ontario government Certified Watchrepairer certificate in 1976. From 1977 until 1985 Rick was in partnership with Ray Burnett at R&R Watch & Clock Repairs, in North Bay. He worked for Bill LeBoeuf Jewellers of Barrie from 1985 until 1997. Rick is a Certified Bulova Quartz Technician; he has passed technical quartz examinations administered by the American Watchmakers Institute and has been a member of the Ontario Watchmakers Association since 1976.
Since moving to Orillia, Aime and Rick have won awards from the community and the local Chamber of Commerce for their business and social involvement. More importantly, however, is the way people come to their store just to say “thank you” for moving to Orillia.
